2. Data We Collect
When you use Sleeptastic and sign in with Google, we collect and store the following data in our Supabase database:
Account Data (via Google OAuth)
- Google Account ID (unique identifier)
- Email address
Sleep Tracking Data
- Planned bedtime
- Planned wake-up time
- Caffeine intake entries (time, beverage type, amount in ml)
- Last meal time
- Workout time and type (cardio, strength, HIIT)
- Biological sex (for scientific calculations)
- Timestamp of each entry
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Generate personalized sleep analysis charts
- Save your settings so you don't have to re-enter them
- Calculate optimal bedtime recommendations
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II certified cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of your data
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of all your data
- Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format

6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session management via Supabase Auth). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account by yourself, by clicking the delete account button in the user dropdown menu.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
